Sparks by Firebeat is a premium enrichment program where children:

Sparks by Firebeat is a children's dance program in Winchester, Massachusetts, now offering dance classes for kids ages 4–14. Our programs combine ballroom dance, hip hop, and creative movement in a supportive, engaging environment where children develop confidence, coordination, musicality, and creativity. No previous dance experience is required!
Kids dance programs & fall 2026 Schedule
No previous experience required for any of our kids programs. Classes are available and designed depending on Age Groups. Each class meets once per week, and parents must choose which session (Fridays or Saturdays) their child will commit to for the 10-weeks. The Fall Session will run from September 11th through November 15th. Registration closes September 5th.

Fireflies — Ages 4 to 6: CREATIVE MOVEMENT
For our youngest dancers, Creative Movement is designed to develop their coordination, musicality, confidence, imagination, and movement skills!
Creative Movement for ages 4-10 years is offered Fridays 3:00-3:45pm or Saturdays 9:00-9:45AM.
Sparks — Ages 6 to 10: BALLROOM & HIP HOP
Children ages 6-10 will begin exploring Ballroom & Hip Hop while developing rhythm, movement, partner skills, confidence, and self expression!
Ballroom for Ages 6-10 years is offered Fridays 3:45-4:45pm or Saturdays 10:00-11:00AM.
Hip Hop for Ages 6-10 years is offered Fridays 4:45-5:45pm or Saturdays 11:00AM-12:00PM.
Embers — Ages 10 to 14: BALLROOM & HIP HOP
For our oldest age group, students will focus on developing musicality, performance skills, confidence, teamwork, and dance technique in Ballroom & Hip Hop!
Hip Hop for Ages 10-14 years is offered Saturdays 10:00-11:00AM.
Ballroom for Ages 10-14 years is offered Saturdays 11:00AM-12:00PM.

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ONLINE
Creating MindBody Accounts for you and your childCreate your Parent MindBody Account by clicking Create Account in the top right corner. Once your account is set up, return to the main page.
Click on your name in the top right hand corner, and go to Manage Account Info to add a family member. Follow steps to create your child’s account.
Enrolling in Class:
Return to your MindBody Account, click on your name again, and switch to your childs’s profile.
Click on the Youth tab and locate the correct Class you’d like to enroll your child in. Make sure to note the correct Age Group, Class, Day & Time.
Follow instructions to add to cart. A non-refundable $50 deposit toward tuition will be due at the time of checkout.
Registration Fee & Checking Out:
BEFORE Check Out, click Account Payments.
Add Registration Fee to cart ($60 for single child, $65 for entire family).

We are accepting students 4 years old and older at this time, and are offering Creative Movement classes on Fridays 3:00-3:45pm or Saturdays 9:00-9:45AM for our youngest dancers. (See Kids Program & Fall 2026 Schedule section above for full program offerings.)

Comfort is our priority! Your child should wear something they feel comfortable moving in. We ask that students bring a 2nd pair of clean shoes to change into. Refrain from sandals, flip flops, or excessively loose shoes. This helps keep our floor safes and clean for all students and staff.
Need suggestions?
Ballroom: Skirts, dresses, leggings, dress pants welcome.
Hip Hop: Sweatpants, leggings, jeans/cargos welcome.
