Diana McDonald quite literally grew up in a dance studio, beginning her studies under her parents’ guidance at the age of six. Her competitive career began in 1991, when she established a competitive partnership with Gary McDonald and quickly shot to success. Together, the McDonalds became 10-time undefeated United States 10-Dance Champions, U.S. Latin Champions, 2-time U.S. South American Showdance Champions, U.S. Classic Showdance Champions and 1997 World 10-Dance Champions, where they became the first ever couple from North America to ever win a world title. They now own Rogers Dance Center in Fairfield, NJ, and produce the popular Manhattan DanceSport Championships. Diana is also an examiner for the United States Terpsichore Association, and is a Firebeat favorite for her expert guidance of students at all levels.
